About Me
Olá! My name is Paula.
I’m passionate about sharing my language and teaching more people to speak Portuguese. I studied to be a Waldorf teacher and an English teacher and spent five years teaching children at Portuguese and English primary schools.
For the past years, i have dedicated myself fully to teaching Portuguese as a foreign language to both children and adults.
I was born in Rio de Janeiro in a Portuguese family, and was therefore raised with a mix of both Brazilian and Portuguese culture, music, traditions (and food!).
For the past few years I have been living in the beautiful city of Porto, Portugal, and from here I teach students from across the world offering both in-person and online classes.
Depending on the student’s preference I teach either Brazilian or European Portuguese. I am fascinated by all varieties of my language and the distinctions between them! I hope I can make you appreciate the Portuguese language as much as I do!
